Really need to check that with Guinness world records. For those that know. A big part of all of this was so that I was going to move to Edinburgh and live there for a spell. However, the road to getting my UK visa has had its fair share of problems and to say I dislike how UK immigration do things is a slight understatement (replace with my normal various swear words).

The original plan was when I applied I requested it as of November to allow myself to travel and then maximise my Ancestry visa. However, UK immigration had other ideas. Long story short I had to cancel my trip to China. (Yes Michelle, that still hurts) but come out of it with this great story of travelling halfway around the globe to collect some mail. Been speaking with locals and when they hear the story think it’s as bloody ridiculous as I do. So am comforted by that at least.

Well rant over.. and with my BRP card in hand, I thought I’d take some time and look around Stirling. I love the architecture of the old buildings here.

Also found a little a little monument to walk to and have a look. It was to this guy called William seems he’s a bit of a big thing….. lol didn’t even realise that the William Wallace monument was here so as soon as I heard I had to go. And was an amazing place to visit.

The views from the top were amazing. And to see his sword was also something to behold.

Now time for me to head back to Edinburgh and find some food…
